


The camp is located in a diverse area incorporating mopang woodlands, acacia, floodplains and the perennial delta, all of which provide a variety of wildlife.
Each tent has en-suite facilities with flush toilet, a shower and basin with hot and cold running water and an outdoor shower also.
Accommodation consists of five spacious and luxuriously appointed East African style tents on a raised deck.
The room interiors are of the same standard as its sister camp, Chitabe.
There is a dining area, lounge and pub with superb views overlooking the surrounding flood plains, and a small pool. Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Reedbuck, Buffalo, Giraffe, Impala, Kudu and Hippo are among the major game attractions of the area. Wild dogs occur in the area.
Chitabe Trail and Chitabe main camps are within walking distance of each other and hence can be combined for a group of up to 24 guests.
Access into this area is only by aircraft.
Activities consist of game walks, day and night game drives in open 4x4 vehicles accompanied by an experienced guide.

The area is a combination of open grassland, acacia-forest and shallow waterways. Game viewing is varied from the lush green period after the rains to the dry winter months. Buffalo, Elephant, Lion, Warthog, Kudu, Hippo, Giraffe, Leopard, Cheetah, Tsessebe are found throughout the year.
Wild Dogs den in June and pups could be seen in mid to late July.
The plains game numbers in the area peak in the dry season.
ACTIVITIES;
Land game drives in open 4x4 Land Rovers – the camp has 2x 10-seater Land Rovers, each accommodating a maximum of 7 guests so that each guest is afforded an outside seat.
The camp does have a supply of bean bags for guests to use to steady their camera while on a game activity.
Day and Night drives Walking safaris are offered from camp Hides, one within walking distance Sleep outs at the hides on request.
